AWR 347 Climate Adaptation Planning for Emergency Managers (Virtual)

This course will prepare participants to describe the principles of climate adaptation planning for emergency management and first response processes. This course will train participants to be able to discuss the impact of weather hazards on critical infrastructure and key resources, and explain how climate change projects will affect those impacts. The processes of common weather hazards, climate variability, and climate change will be addressed alongside risk assessment paradigms.
