This training will equip participants with the basic skills needed to function as a PIO such as oral and written communications, and understanding and working with the media, and basic tools and techniques needed to perform effectively.
The primary training audience is individuals who have public information responsibilities during an emergency/disaster event and distribute disaster awareness campaign information.
This course is approved for ND POST Board credit.
