NDDES Staff Training: Building our Leadership Team
Date: October 24-25, 2019
Location: Quality Inn, Bismarck
This training, for NDDES staff, will focus discussion and activities on leadership and communications. Topics include leadership competence and styles, supervisor/supervisee relationships, crucial conversations, creating strong teams, conflict management, decision making, and more.
Class will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day at the Quality Inn, 1030 E Interstate Ave. Bismarck.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Quality Inn for staff arriving from out of town. Call 701-223-1911 and ask for the "DES Building our Team" block prior to October 10, 2019.
Training will be facilitated by Dr. Stephenson Beck and Dr. Catherine Kingsley Westerman, both associate professors in the Department of Communications at NDSU.
