Basic Academy: L0146 (L0104) Exercise Design (HSEEP)

L104 Exercise Design (Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Progran) will be held October 16-17, 2019 at the Quality Inn, 1030 E Interstate Ave., Bismarck, ND. Class will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. each day.
This is an intermediate-level course designed to describe the core principles and processes of HSEEP, its standardized methodology, available resources, and practical skill development, which will assist in developing an HSEEP consistent exercise program. The objectives of the course are to understand the role of HSEEP in National Preparedness, and how HSEEP exercise principles and methodology support efforts across the whole community to improve our national capacity to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities.
The target audience for this training are those involved in planning, program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning of HSEEP consistent exercises.

This course is open to Basic Academy participants and others involved in exercise programs.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Comfort Suites, 929 Gateway Ave., Bismarck, ND. These rooms are available at the state rate until October 1, 2019. Call 701-223-4009 and ask for the "DES Basic Academy 104" block. NDDES will reimburse appropriate participants that work in the Emergency Management field in North Dakota for hotel at state rate and meal per diem according to state policy. Participants must travel 50 miles or greater to be eligible for travel reimbursement. We do not cover mileage.
